Join Us in the OEG Voices Podcast Studio: Open Resilience Award to Scientific Library Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies

We have another special OEWeek recording session for an OEG Voices Podcast episode. It’s special because we are talking about the 2022 OE Award for Open Resilience that recognized the Scientific Library of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.

It’s also special because of the efforts of a network of librarians who advocated for and put to use Open Education and Open Educational Resources during war conditions.

And it’s even more special because we are hoping to have joining us, Tetiana Kolesnykova, the Director of the Scientific Library at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies… if, as our colleagues tell us, she has sufficient electricity.

Does that speak to you about resilience?

Our cohosts for this episode are Paola Corti @Paola and Mira Buist-Zhuk @Mira from the European Network of Open Education Librarians (ENOEL) who have been key connectors for Tetiana and her colleagues.

As we have done in previous years, we record special episodes during Open Education Week and offer 10 seats in the studio to anyone who wants to listen in live or be part of the conversation.

This session takes place in your local time:

2023-03-08T17:15:00Z2023-03-08T18:15:00Z

The podcast will be recorded in Zoom (cameras never required). Space in the recording studio is limited to the first 10 registrants. Register now to secure your seat

We are eager to hear what the librarians in the Ukraine have been doing to continue their effort and perhaps to learn what ways our Open Education community can support their efforts. Mostly we want to honor this most important act of Open Resilience.

Learn more about the Scientific Library at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies and explore their information on Open Educational Resources. And hear from Mira and Paola about their work to support their librarian colleagues:

And finally, we suggest reading a message from Tetiana “Open Education developments in Ukraine in times of crisis: A librarian’s perspective” that paints a vivid picture of living and working during this crisis.

We appreciate Paola and Mira for arranging this very special OEWeek conversation. You can be part of the podcast by signing up to be in the podcast studio or wait until it appears at https://voices.oeglobal.org/.

Again, reply below with any questions or comments you want us to relay to Tetiana.

For those interested, this is the podcast that came from this OE Week live session.
