This is the fifth year that [TUDelft](https://www.tudelft.nl/) has hosted for Open Education Week it’s award winning [We Like Sharing Photo Competition](https://oeweek.oeglobal.org/activity/we-like-sharing-open-photo-competition-2025/).

It’s a beautiful way to venture out into Open 😉

_An entry I liked this year-- ‘[Venturing out to the open sea](https://www.flickr.com/photos/welikesharing/54362381407/in/album-72177720323801499/)’ by Kristina Walther is released under CC BY-SA_

## Check Out the Winners

This year [158 photos were submitted for We Like Sharing](https://www.flickr.com/photos/welikesharing/albums/72177720323801499/). I am one of the lucky judges that had the task to suggest 10, that narrowed the finalists down to 33 photos. Public voting selected the winners.

And now… [the four winning photos have been announced](https://onlinelearninghub.tudelft.nl/2025-open-photo-competition-winners/)!

- [Moving spaces](https://flic.kr/p/2qN76Ap) by Tian Qing Yen, released under Public Domain Dedication (CC0)
- [TU Delft Library](https://flic.kr/p/2qPvLx6) by Carel van der Lippe, released under CC BY-NC-ND
- [The Observer](https://flic.kr/p/2qQ3dSc) by Jonas Leander von Heusinger, released under CC BY-NC-SA
- [Abstract utility](https://flic.kr/p/2qQAbtK) by Krishna Koushik Venigalla, released under CC BY-NC-SA

As well said in the announcement, “And remember, when we share, we all win!” because there are now [a pool of 158 excellent photos that are all openly licensed](https://www.flickr.com/photos/welikesharing/albums/72177720323801499/), available for reuse.

Spend some time looking at a[ll of the shared photos](https://www.flickr.com/photos/welikesharing/albums/72177720323801499/) and let us know below which ones stand out to you as something that expresses openness.

See as well [the results of the previous iterations of We Like Sharing](https://onlinelearninghub.tudelft.nl/tag/welikesharing/). The entire collection of almost 1500 openly licensed photos shared over the years is available from the [We Like Sharing account in Flickr](https://www.flickr.com/photos/welikesharing/).
