It’s hardly news to say that outside of the fabulous and densely packed [session schedule for the conference](https://oeglobal2026.sched.com/list/simple), we know that often the key experiences are what happens at an in person conference is _in between_, aka the hallway conversations.
As an attempt to provide that for our online participants and making it part of the Hybrid Conference Experience, we are organizing in the schedule gaps what I have called [Hybrid Connecting sessions](https://oeglobal2026.sched.com/overview/type/Hybrid+Connecting) (and for those who remember this is a total nod to the era of [Virtually Connecting](https://virtuallyconnecting.org/)).
These are drop in session for both online and in person attendees to pop into one of our OEGlobal Zoom rooms to catch up, connect, and just talk about what they have seen/hear or planning to do later. And there is a slot after the end of the days programming for a recap of the day and maybe a few more surprises.
We welcome too anyone in person wiling during the breaks to even pop in for five minutes via your mobile device to maybe share a “live field report” - if this is possible, please let us know via our [Field Reporters for Hybrid Connecting Sessions form](https://forms.gle/JEf5GYhuhuojck7B9) or just show up.
Registered conference participants will find the zoom links the week of the conference in Sched for these online hallway conversations. Please add them to your schedule and feel welcome to drop in!
