# OEGlobal24: The "AND" Conference Concept

Like [we did previously for OEGlobal22 hosted in Nantes, France](https://connect.oeglobal.org/t/oe-global-2022-as-an-and-conference/3661), we are offering what we call an “AND” conference experience.

> This space is online and is organized around a conference, but we are not offering it as an online or hybrid conference. It’s both. We are designing opportunities for both people In Brisbane and ones Not in Brisbane – so we can all contribute to the conference experience from wherever we are. Rather than trying to replicate a conference format we aim to augment it.
Hence the name “AND Conference” inspired by the [Yes, and](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yes,_and...) rule of improv that we adopt so anyone can add to the conference experience, wherever they are.
