OpenCourseWare Consortium Archeology

For the recent OEAward given to Stephen Carson, who was instrumental in the founding if the original OpenCourseWare Consortium, I was digging around for historical links.

I found this article that covers a good chunk of the organization that became OEGlobal that he wrote “The unwalled garden: growth of the OpenCourseWare Consortium, 2001–2008” https://doi.org/10.1080/02680510802627787

I was also looking at the history of the OEGlobal Conferences where the first ones in 2005 and 2006 were ones for the OCW consortium (the internet archive links ther are pretty iffy, not much info),.

More web searching and I landed on a video from the 2006 OCW meeting in Kyoto Japan with a session by a young chap named David Wiley  @opencontent showing the technology of the time for OCW he was leading at Utah State University

I’m curious who has memories and any links from these early OCWC conferences? Who was there?
