@Downes Braiding need not involve braiding separate perspectives or points of view together. One takeaway that I had from hearing @Darrion speak about braiding in Edmonton was that braiding strands together strengthens. It is this kind of braiding that I contemplate for open. I think braiding the different forms of open together (open education, open science, open access, open source, open data, …) will strengthen open in education.
