My background is in music education, where I enjoyed over fifteen fantastic years making music with MS/HS band students (including my own two kids). I am an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University, where I am the Coordinator of OpenOKState and OER Librarian. I hold Masters degrees in trumpet performance and educational technology, as well as a PhD in Learning, Design and Technology.
