WORK
Since 1995 I have taught English at some secondary schools and colleges in East Kotawaringin district, Central Kalimantan province, Indonesia. To pursue my teaching and learning passion, since 2020 I have been a faculty member of the Department of English Language Education at the State Islamic Institute of Palangka Raya, Palangka Raya, Indonesia. My current research interests touch the following themes: science mapping or Bibliometrics in English language teaching, English as a medium of instruction, and Teacher Professional Development. I teach along with conduct research and professional service appropriate to the discipline. As a researcher, I have published 13 articles in ten Scopus-indexed journals, a member of the Editorial Board in Indonesian and international journals, and a reviewer for Indonesian and international journals.

In the first half of 2021 academic year I was a visiting scholar at the Doctoral Program of English language education Department of Malang State University. From September 28 to November 23, 2021 I joined the course of English as a Medium of Instruction Fall 2021 Section by Ohio University, as part of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State English. Now I am one of the eleven Master Trainers of English Language Teacher Training held by the Regional English Language Office of the Embassy of the United States of America in Indonesia.
