Eleonora Pantò is involved in innovation in education and online training.
She collaborates on European research projects on the use of digital technologies in learning, inclusion and diversity at school. She has worked on policies for the development of the European video game industry and the use of applied games for educational purposes. She coordinated the design and development of an applied game on ocean literacy.
She has worked for the Education Department of the City of Turin where she dealt with educational and school policies and services.
She is the advocacy of open education and promoted the Open Education Italia network (www.educazioneaperta.eu) and member of Wikimedia Italia.
Since 2004, she is the director of the Association Dschola Le scuole per le scuole, which has been organising training initiatives on coding for teachers and students.
She was the past president of the European Media & Learning Association which promotes the Medea Awards.
She has collaborated in projects and networks on participatory journalism and the gender digital divide. She has worked in professional training as a designer and trainer of digital skills. She designed and implemented the first websites of the Piedmontese public administration. With the publisher Apogeo, she has published “Internet per la Didattica” and “Gens electrica”.
