My name is Mais. I am an educational technology specialist, learning designer, passionate teacher, and researcher. I have been working in higher education since 2008. I started my career in higher education at the Open University (SA) and then moved to Western Sydney University (NSW, Australia). Currently, I am Manager, Learner Experience Design at the University of Technology, Sydney (NSW, Australia). My research interests focus on the use of technologies in learning and teaching, including Open Educational Practices, learning design, and design-based research. I received my Ph.D. from the School of Computing, Engineering, and Mathematics in 2016 from Western Sydney University.
