Each year the Open Education Awards for Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions in the Open Education community. Here you can learn about the Awards, discuss the process, learn about the categories, and interact with previous award winners.
We wanted to create a space here in OEG Connect for you to be part of the process as it unfolds, to share ideas on nominations, to meet and learn more about previous award winners.
Award categories are reviewed each year to make sure they are current, relevant, and reflect the emerging innovations in the Open Education movement. Some new features (a new nomation system, the awards category explorer) were added for 2023 and are in place for 2024.
