USAFacts, in partnership with the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME) is pleased to announce the inaugural OER Fellowship for High School Educators interested in integrating data, visualizations, and videos created by USAFacts to enhance their curriculum. The OER Fellowship will pair teacher expertise in pedagogy and standards with USAFact’s expertise in public data and visualization to create high-quality openly-licensed lesson plans. Over the course of three months, Fellows from throughout the United States will collaborate to explore exemplar resources, assess their content area needs, determine instructional and learning goals and outcomes, and design an Open Educational Resource (OER) that will be peer-reviewed and refined before publishing on the USAFacts Hub on the OER Commons digital library. Interested Educators are invited to apply by November 4.
Feel free to pass the info along to anyone who might be interested. Thank you!
