So much of our information resources is to explain, define, describe. The greatest compilation of knowledge that is WIkipedia aims to be the place to contribute to and make available all knowledge.
This makes sense?
I came across a different and interesting (and also wiki-based) resource called Wiki Enigma that aims to catalog all of the unknowns in subject areas- an encyclopedia of unknowns.
Wikenigma is a unique wiki-based resource specifically dedicated to documenting fundamental gaps in human knowledge.
Listing scientific and academic questions to which no-one, anywhere, has yet been able to provide a definitive answer. [ 1155 so far ]
Thatâs to say, a compendium of so-called âKnown Unknownsâ.
All articles are open for registered users to contribute and edit.

You can explore by topic area-- since I studied Geology, I can go into the category for Earth Sciences where I can find entries for Booming Dunes (which I have some memory of âhearingâ about) or Geobatteries which are completely new to me.
Like Wikipedia, perhaps the most interesting way to explore the 1155 known unknowns is via the random article link.
