To share my (citizen) research work, enhance consideration of source files as a primary element to enable modification. See “Open Source 2.0: From Open Source Software to Open Source Resources?" (v0. 3 in few days) or “Developing Open Source Educational Resources for Machine Learning and Data Science” (theorization of OSER notion is the point, ML is not the important here). Or open source Wikipedia page to avoid paper reading, heavily integrated the information there. The gap/paradox between right vs ability to modify in OER because of the lack of source files. (Open) standard could be a great addition, such as for file formats.
“developing mechanisms to support and incentivize all stakeholders to publish source files and accessible OER using standard open file formats in public repositories;” UNESCO’s recommandation on OER
I like the relation between open science and open education though, the use of (open) research in (open) education. Therefore the relation between openness movements, use of open source software/infrastructure can be nice to mention. Speaking about public domain in parallel with CC0.
Bringing critical posture regarding copyright framework and not just explain licenses use, related to the lack sharing mecanisms in law substituted by licenses. « CC licenses are a patch, not a fix, for the problems of the copyright system. » #CopyrightReform
Performative and reflexive education that can emerge from having a course based on OER 
Keep some improvements to do it with them, to let them do it?

Thanks for reaching out. I had the same question a few years ago and was fortunate to find this course from the University of British Columbia (UBC) Canada. I took the course myself. In addition to learning a lot, I enjoyed the course immensely and interacting with others online. The course is completely online but could be done in a classroom. Is your course in person, online or hybrid?
