AND/Un/Pre Conference Week Events Starting October 28

I likely confuse my colleagues and everyone else with my manufactured name! - the AND Conference experience, and now, I hope to spawn a week of Pre-Conference activities, both scheduled, but also ongoing, Un-conference style things to do here in OEG Connect.

The plans for this week are a bit… organic, but there are a few scheduled live online activities, hopefully spanning time zones. And also, we list below other online events we have come across (or hopefully you will tell us about). All times should be listed in your local time zone.

OEGlobal Pre Conference Events

These are open events you can participate via YouTube like our other OEG Live streamed ones, some in Zoom, and a few via our new Internet Radio experiment, Conference of the Air.

Other Open Online Events

Given that “Open is Everybody’s business” we are listing just a few other online open education events of interest. We would love to list yours! You can message me via @cogdog or reply below with details, or better yet, enter the information in the open events announcement space here in OEG Connect.

Again, if you know of more webinars / online events we should add for this week (or in general leading up to the Nov 13, 2024 conference, send me the details! It’s Everybody’s Business and we want to make that visible.

For just the readers here, we have now from today’s recording of what will be a later published OEGlobal Voices podcast, a preview of a fantastic conversation I had with Ildikó Csizmazia (Erasmus University), Minita Franzen (Erasmus University), Caroline Lea-Carnall (University of Manchester), Laura Henderson (Frontiers for Young Minds), and Hedwig Ens (Frontiers for Young Minds),

Ildikó and Minita are clinical psychologist who worked with Caroline as a Science mentor to a group of primary school students in the U.K. who reviewed this newly published paper in Frontiers for Young Minds:
