Great news from Penn State University for a IMLS grant funded project to develop a systemic model for supporting open-source online homework systems:

It caught my eye as I was a small part of the Open Homework Systems project at BCcampus and the person to contact there for more insight is @clintlalonde
It might be curious to hear of any other organizational efforts to implement the kinds of open source systems that provide students extra practice activities as a stand against the commercial systems that add more cost burdens to students.
But for now, go Big Ten! And look again, here is a fantastic effort co-lead by librarians.
