Hello fellow Open Education Advocates!
Although it is a milestone from my recent portfolio, I wanted to share a specific chapter of my curriculum design journey with this community—one that deeply reinforced my belief in the power of Open Educational Resources (OER).
From December 2025 to March 2026, I worked as a Self-Employed Curriculum Developer with Teachy, focusing heavily on building scalable digital learning assets. As a Physics graduate and long-time academic tutor to over 80+ students across the BOSEM and CBSE boards, my goal has always been to make complex science intuitive and accessible. This role allowed me to scale that mission globally.
Here is what that collaborative work involved:
Physics Content Architecture: Created comprehensive learning content for Classes 6–12. I utilized AI-assisted educational tools and strategic prompting to enhance conceptual clarity, turning abstract physics theories into digestible modules.
Scalable Digital Learning: Designed interactive, presentation-based lessons and contextual quizzes optimized for digital delivery. The goal was to build frameworks that any educator could pick up and implement seamlessly.
Proven Openness & Real-World Use: Contributed fully to the open ecosystem by ensuring these materials remained publicly accessible. A major highlight has been seeing two different users freely adopt and implement these resources in their own contexts, demonstrating the immediate scalability and utility of the initiative.
Whether I am vetting science articles on Wikipedia (where I love curating open-access content for public readers) or building localized curriculum, I believe the intersection of Generative AI and OER is where the future of inclusive education lies.
I would love to connect with other advocates in the network who are exploring AI literacy for educators or designing open science curricula. How are you balancing AI tools with rigorous educational standards in your regions? Let’s exchange insights!
