Curso aberto - REA e licenças Creative Commons (in Portuguese)

Spotted this on the Creative Commons Open Education Platform email list, a self paced open course on OER and Creative Commons published in Portuguese by Marcos V. C. Vital. This was his final project as part of earning a Creative Commons Educator Certificate.

Most of the course content is organized around a series of videoclasses I recorded and texts I wrote (along with some external open resources), in an effort to share this
content here in Brazil and with other Portuguese speakers around the world.

All the content is CC BY licensed, and is organized in a dedicated website:

Just sharing as a small example of how open education works for individuals and at the same time gives back to the larger community.

You can join this email list via https://groups.google.com/g/cc-openedu and find more information about Creative Commons Open Education Platform at https://network.creativecommons.org/cc-open-education-platform/

Thanks for sharing Alan!

For anyone interested in what is possible when course content is available in Markdown on a public repository, here is another way the same content could be presented - this time by the open source project Docsify-This, along with a Sidebar, search field, use of a serif font optimized for reading on a digital screen, system dark mode setting and an edit this page link.

And thank you Paul for reminding us of the versatility of publishing content as markdown and enabling the wide range of easy publishing through Docsify-This.

I encourage others here to explore Paul’s open publishing tool https://docsify-this.net/.

And for some irony, Paul, I was part of the first planning of the CC Certificates in 2016 and had advocated for a markdown approach, alas we had no Docsify-This to use!
