Do Today's Daily Create: #tdc5164 #ds106 Plug in to Open Education Week with the Fabulous Remixer Machine

We are into day 3 of Open Education Week 2026 where we are also giving you a new DS106 Daily Create each day. Maybe you will enjoy this so much you will be a regular TDCer?

There are so many creative things you can do with the Fabulous Remixer Machine created by Bryan Mathers (not how all remixes have those lovely CC licenses!). You could pick any of the models and make something, including the OEWeek Digital Postcard . Today go simple, try the Plug in / Switch to OER one. You enter your own text, vary the size and colors, and publish. Easy! Create your own remix to celebrate OER this week.

Plugin to OER remix by @visualthinkery is licensed under CC-BY-SA . Remix by Alan Levine.

Can you do all five Daily Creates This Week?

Maybe there will be a PRIZE!

March 2-6 is the annual celebration of Open Education Week , if you have not heard about it, check out everything happening this week with a daily schedule of stuff to do . And it’s taking over the Daily Create for five days.

I am adding this week’s OEWeek challenges as an activity posted to the Open Education Week collection . If you are a regular Daily Creator you know how to reply to this Daily Create in Mastodon. But you can post your photo anywhere and share a link in the comments below, or even better, you can reply to this challenge in the OEG Connect Activity Space . Or just do them for yourself! There are no rules in the Daily Create Club.

My first inclination was making a play on the Spinal Tab movie line about the guitarist turning up his amplifier to 11, but saw it had been done before.

Instead, with the idea of musicians “jamming” in a studio, for Open Education Week I hope many plug in to the amps and join together with the world band.

Script style letters OER formed from an audio cable with plugs at each end. Atop is the message Join the band.
