Abstract

As we teach concepts such as globalization, geography, systems of government, and economics, we can use real-world data to look at trends, comparisons, and current and historical situations. Data sources include Gapminder, WolframAlpha, Wikipedia, and open data portals. We'll introduce curriculum-aligned (and Creative Commons) resources available through the federally-funded Callysto project, and help you get started creating and editing your own if you are interested.
