We are just ramping up the social media and announcement machines for next week, but as posted Wednesday we have already opened the Open Education Week site for those ready to start sharing their events. For those that run event calendars, it seems that it’s information, data that ought to be well structured– title, link, description, start and end time etc, should be easy to manage.
All of the images for OEWeek are attributed in the OEweek Visuals Kit where the license is specified with an attribution statement, I just added to the page for the visuals kit a copy paste version that can be used in web pages.
The digital postcard image is created with a template at the Fabulous Remixer Machine which generates its own attribution statement. You are very much welcome to create your own postcard specific to your activities.
Hi Barbara, I believe we can provide .svg formats for the graphics, they are organized in Figma which offers that as an export. I will be asking our designer @Mario about this.
I am curious about
Meaning to use in a vector format editing program? I thought PNG was a widely supported standard file format. Or is it because the PNG format is a flattened graphic. This is purely for my own knowledge sake, as my graphic skills are mostly messing around in Photoshop.
This is why I call @mario “Super Mario”. There is a wide variety of new images available too, especially for socials in banner, square, and reel aspect ratios that can be used/customized as needed.
