The Open Networked Learning project has developed as a response to a growing need for courses dealing with the use of digital tools for teaching and learning. Further it is a result of educational developers looking outside their own universities to collaborate within their network of colleagues nationally and internationally. As our universities have included a clause about internationalisation in their strategic plans – this course is one way of living up to that in the form of internationalisation at home.

Hi Jorg! Registered. Though I wonder how we will manage the synchronous sessions across the timezone. But I am excited and I am sure we will work out something.
That is a great idea Alan! But I don’t want to push you into managing something that I might not really not able to show consistency in. These days, there is just too much work, of different kinds and I really am not sure if I would be able to (though I would love to and I do read though not respond) contribute in the next few months as earlier.

Once you create an account on the ONL homepage in the Getting Started week, we ask you about your preferred meeting times (morning, afternoon, evening - all measured in Central European Summer Time). We group you then with folks with similar preferences. Has been working out pretty well for about 10 years now…
