National initiatives in the Arab region by Al-Quds Open University, Palestine
The project, implemented by Al-Quds Open University, funded by the UNESCO Cairo Office and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education – Jordan, aims to build the capacity of academics and teachers in Palestine and Jordan to effectively use, develop and share Open Educational Resources OER.
The project aims to enhance practical skills of reusing and re-creating open e-content through a self-learning online course and Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Using this experience, we are now working towards developing more projects that will impact OER and allow open and innovative education to reach more places in the region.
