We’ve been hearing plenty about ADAPT here in OEG Connect from @delmar – here is an opportunity to get an in-depth experience in a free, online workshop

Delmar will demonstrate how instructors can use ADAPT to augment existing and newly constructed OER textbooks with summative exercises and embed them in LMSs, LibreTexts textbooks, in a standalone application, and in-class clickers. Discussions will demonstrate how the ADAPT homework system empowers faculty to build and use existing questions in multiple modalities. Participants will learn how to build autograded questions based on four technologies – H5P, WebWork, IMathAS, and native (QTI) – that can be used interchangeably to allow for maximal impact. Utilizing and building learning trees in ADAPT will also be discussed.

We will also be joined by our new partner, Antecedent Writing developer, Raymond Oenbring, as he gives a live demonstration on how his site can encourage academic Integrity in the AI Era with Antecedent Writing Analytics. Based around the principle of labour-based grading, Antecedent is a shared composition space between instructors and students, providing instructors with rich activity analytics about students’ writing processes. In addition to being introduced to Antecedent, instructors will learn how to set up their first assignments.
