We do this by enabling developers to have access to an open, categorized index that will always be available for free, for any use.

I’d not be surprised if its api is used in other apps that find podcasts for you. Maybe consider it’s search to be a bit like a google for podcasts, you can save links as references e.g.

Note I am not fully sure if it is doing exact matches, give it a try for your interests, and see what kinds of podcasts you can find.
