What is intriguing about SolarSPELL is being completely self contained, it is solar powered.
Today there are 487 SolarSPELL digital libraries in Ethiopia, Marshall Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Rwanda, Malawi, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and Comoros.

This reminds me too of the efforts we heard about in India from @Rimit1 and I am curious to hear what came of that.
Also, I have heard from others that the Raspberry PI platform that tuns SolarSpell is either hard to get or expensive, is this true?
