The phrase is bold “improves academic outcomes” and it cites the 2024 report). I looked, and cannot seem to find this phrase or anything so categorical (which is sane, as it would be hard to support such a wide-ranging statement). Am I missing something?

Probably not. It is a bold sweeping claim. I’ve not combed the referenced report but I agree with you that such a conclusion is lacking (and curious that the report is not linked).

There was a reference in the 2024 report to “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Teaching and Learning” from 2023 that maybe gets a closer, but still does not make that claim.

I do have a contact at the unit that published the report and will seek clarification.

Update @tamiel my contact says the reference should be linked to this report Designing for Education with Artificial Intelligence: An Essential Guide for Developers - Office of Educational Technology which I still cannot find this claim.
