Tap into What's New in Australasia Region with OEPSIG Digest

I’m glad I caught in the winds of social media a post by @AshTheLibrarian sharing the August issue of the Open Educational Practice (OEP) Digest

There are great updates on new Open Education activity in the region and beyond, including the next generation of the OER Collective as the new Studium publishing platform for OER in Australasia.

And there’s quite a bit more of resources from all over the world, new OERs of interest by discipline. Just in my own interest in curating open education podcasts, it’s great to see many more new episodes of Stories of Openness podcast from the Deakin University.

I spotted an OER podcast from University of Central Florida, Open-Ed Mic “a podcast where voices from across the educational landscape share insights, stories, and strategies for transforming learning through openness.”

And look, from the OEPSIG digest I am seeing that our own OEGLobal board member @rjhangiani was a recent guest on the July Open-Ed Mic episode on Global and Future Perspectives on Open Education. I’d say that episode is well worth a listen.

Much more is there, join me in subscribing to get all of the OPESIG digests via email.
