I’ve just launched Season 4 and am so excited to have more experts and thought leaders in education share their stories with my global audience. What do you think the future of education should look like?
I love the reach and global coverage in your podcast, Eric.
Maybe a small wish for the future, is more education related podcasts, maybe our podcast can meet yours. I was casting a call for more to add to a collection we are building, and need to add your Education Innovators show to it.
But really the place to go is the podcast itself, give it a listen, and add to your own porcast queue/player.
Maybe for a question, Eric… an easy one is to ask for a mmost memorable episode, but I will ask instead for an example of a podcast you did that revealed something you did not expect, a “wow” surprise… has that happened?
Thank you for your kind words about my podcast. It has truly been a blessing and I feel incredibly privileged to get to talk with so many brilliant educators who are making a difference.
I’ve actually been thinking that some of the education podcasts should join together in a network. There are advantages to being within an organization, including collaboration between podcasts (hosts as guests on other podcasts within the group), shared expertise, shared resources, and cross marketing. We see this a lot in genres like sports and news podcasts. I would love to participate in a podcast network if I can find the right fit. I’m pretty good with content, but I’m not so good at marketing. I know I could learn a lot from other podcasters and would be happy to share what I’ve learned. The Education Innovators Podcast is my second podcast. My first one is “No Harm in Asking”, which is a podcast about podcasts. Between the 2 shows, I’ve hosted and produced over 100 episodes.
Just throwing this idea out there. For it to work, we need a host organization that acts as the umbrella network for the other education podcasts to join.
