Kenyon College’s Center for Innovative Pedagogy (CIP) is hosting a free online virtual conference this week, focusing on small colleges
The CIP will host the 2025 What Works conference May 29 - 30. The free, online conference showcases teaching and learning approaches suitable for small college classroom environments.
This year’s conference includes a wide range of presentations, panels and workshops focused in three general areas:
- approaches that build community and belonging in the classroom
- creative connections between different disciplines across the curriculum
- experiential opportunities and real world applications for the liberal arts
Presenters at the conference this year represent nine different colleges from around the world, and registration for the online events is open to participants from all institutions. For the first time since the pandemic, we will also host an in person session at Kenyon College.
Registration is free and now open for our online event:

I can vouch for the quality of this event as Joe Murphy, Director of the CIP, is a long time friend and colleague. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with his office in past projects/programs.
Register and tune in to what you can! And let us know in a reply of anything interesting you learn at What Works in 2025 (I sure want to know the answer!)
This is an event offered by and for the open education community. If you are logged into OEG Connect, return to the main OE Events space where you can add your own event as a new topic
