Open Education Week is almost here.. no it’s already here. While many events happen on the week of March 2, we are gathering all events happening February through April, see what’s upcoming for scheduled events on the main calendar but do not miss the ongoing activities (ones that are multiple events or span over time).
Make use of the Add to Calendar feature to schedule specific events you do not want to miss. I just did this for the 2026 OERizona Conference.
I have my own special connection in that I lived for 20 years in Arizona and started my career at the Maricopa Community Colleges. This 8th annual conference represents the OER movement in Arizona very well.
Once registered, I was able to add specific events I wanted to my own calendar - I definitely do not want to miss the opening keynote Dr. Lisa Young; From Open Textbooks to Open Futures: Arizona’s Journey and the Next Frontier of Open Education @lcbyoung is dynamic, inspiring a former OEGlobal Board member, but also a long time friend as we both started our careers at Maricopa about the same time (1992, not that long ago, right?).
