Hello to the OEGlobal community,

My name is Nawaraj Ghimire, and I am thrilled to attend OEGlobal 2024 Conference (#OEGlobal24) in Brisbane, Australia. for the first time! I am joining from Nepal, where I am passionate about the intersection of technology, education, and governance.

As someone new to this event, I am particularly excited about the chance to learn from the diverse, global network of educators, innovators, and researchers committed to the cause of open and inclusive education. I look forward to exploring new ideas, meeting experts in open education, and discovering cutting-edge projects that are making education more accessible.

OEGlobal 2024 offers a unique opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions on open science, education, and sustainable development. I can’t wait to connect with all of you and share in this incredible journey!

Hello and welcome back, Nawaraj! I for one, and I would say many others, are interested to know more about your open education work / interests in Nepal.

And we are more than excited to see you are able to attend the conference in November. For those looking at the draft program, you will find Nawaraj’s presentation “Empowering Education: Addressing the Digital Divide through Digital Capability in Open Education” scheduled on day 3.

And also, for others to be aware, Nawaraj is an Individual Member of Open Education Global and as posted elsewhere here Nawaraj already stepping up by running for a seat on the OEGlobal Board of Directors. Ask a question there or let your ideas for the new board members to be known.
