I just spotted a link in Mastodon about a free, self-paced but do it with others open course to learn how to use Wikidata
I have had a long interest in becoming more proficient in understanding and adding to Wikidata, and started looking at Wikidata:Open Online Course
This MOOC aims to simplify learning how to edit Wikidata through an online course. Participants will understand how Wikidata works, its rules, its community, and how to contribute to it.
Who can Join?
Anyone interested in learning about Wikidata and contributing to it, regardless of your background or computer skills. In addition to beginners, this course is also beneficial for Wikidata trainers.The Wikidata open online course is offered by the software communication team at Wikimedia Deutschland. Originally developed in French by Wikimedia France, the course content has been updated and translated into English.
It runs for 45 days and suggests 3 hours per week-- that’s not much!
When: 17 March 2025 - 30 April 2025 (yes it started but its not too late)
Participate: Sign up / enroll (requires to login or create a Wikidata account)

I was just clicking around looking at it and managed to accidentally enrol, so I guess I am taking it. If anyone else wants to spend a few weeks with me in there, let me know below! I’d be keen to see others learn Wikidata along side me
