A New Call for Recommended Comprehensive / Regional OER Repositories

Ahhh, OER repositories, so many of them, right? We need your help in building out a current list for Open Education Week 2026 that we can recommend as places to share open assets that are new or highly relevant now (see all the details there).

We did organize in 2024 via OEG Connect a set of recommended repositories to use:

How about helping us update the recommended list for 2026? We are doing this wiki style.

OER Repository List

Here is the part you can edit (see button below) please keeping in mind we seek to list repositories that

  • Cross all disciplines
  • Covers a wide multiple types of OER format (e.g. not just textbooks or videos or specific media)
  • Allow for anyone to contribute/suggest an OER (This is a must have)
  • Ones of regional (e.g. continent/country/audience) or an audience/education level focus
  • Ones with content are all explicitly openly licensed
  • ideally, ones that are indexed by federated searches. e.g. listed as sources for OASIS, OERSI, Mason OER Finder (also if you know more of these types of searches reply below).
