Join the Council of Australasian University Librarians (CAUL) for a celebration and showcase of the year that’s been and highlights across the history of the CAUL OER Collective. The Collective was recognized in 2024 with an Open Education Award for Excellence Collaboration Award.
Since its inception, the OER Collective has taken huge strides to advance open education across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, providing educators with accessible, high-quality Open Educational Resources (OER) that are relevant to our region.
Today, the Collective continues to thrive, with notable milestones such as receiving the prestigious OEGlobal Award for Excellence in Open Education, a testament to the power of collaboration within the OER community. In addition to the award, the Collective’s growing catalogue boasts an impressive array of impactful titles, highlighting the diversity and reach of its contributions.
Looking ahead, the Collective has a host of exciting plans. In this session, we’ll be unveiling upcoming OER texts, showcasing future resources, and discussing the 2025 timeline, including grant opportunities to support new projects. A feature presentation from one of the forthcoming OER teams will offer a sneak peek into the work underway. Attendees will also learn how to access a full list of future titles to track developments throughout the year and discover opportunities to collaborate on works in progress.
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, offering attendees the chance to engage directly with the Collective and ask any questions. Don’t miss this celebration of open education!
