Indeed, the projects are winding up, for many of is the email auto replies are engaged as 2025 heads towards its finish line. I just wanted to send a bit of appreciation to the (checking the stats…) 1962 people who have joined OEG Connect since we opened in 2020.

Our signup form for OEG Connect and account profiles includes an open text field where we ask what city and country represent your location. Needless to say, we get a variety of responses, with with the aid of ChatGPT to normalize them all to official country names, we can share that the community represents open educators from 79 countries:

As we head into 2026 I am plotting many new ideas to instigate community activity, but my ideas are just a few of what is possible. I asm eager to find out from you what would make for good discussion topics here in the OEGlobal Plaza section… would you be willing to add your events to the OEvents area or share open resources in the OE Sharing Zone.
