Les bibliothèques universitaires créent, accompagnent la création et travaillent à l’indexation et au signalement des ressources éducatives libres. Intégrées dans l’écosystème de l’enseignement supérieur, elles peuvent être une force motrice du développement de projets liés à l’éducation ouverte. Mais surtout, les bibliothèques universitaires fonctionnent en réseaux internationaux, à travers des associations, des coalitions et des groupes de travail, qui permettent à la fois le retour d’expérience et de partager une réflexion sur des enjeux communs. En liant les approches institutionnelles, nationales et internationales, les bibliothèques peuvent être actrices et facilitatrices de la coopération internationale pour le développement de l’éducation ouverte et des RELs.
University libraries create, help create, index and share open educational resources. Integrated into the higher education ecosystem, they can be a driving force in the development of projects related to open education. But above all, university libraries operate in international networks, through associations, coalitions and working groups, which allow peers to give feedback on ongoing projects and share the reflection on common issues. By linking institutional, national and international approaches, libraries can be actors and facilitators of an international cooperation towards the development of Open Education and OERs.
