OE Café session 5 - Nurturing the creation of sustainability models for OER

The fifth Open Education Café , organized by SPARC Europe and the European Network of Open Education Librarians (ENOEL), is approaching on Tuesday, 10 October 2023, 4-5 pm CEST! The topic is Nurturing the creation of sustainability models for OER .

In this session, we will sit down with:

  • Ebba Ossianillsson (ICDE Board Member, ICDE OER Ambassador and Chair ICDE OER Advocacy Committee and Vice President Swedish Association for Open, Flexible Distance Education, Sweden) - Independent expert, consultant, researcher, and quality reviewer. Professor in Innovation and open online learning. Focusing on Policy, Quality, Leadership, and international co-operation

  • Jacques Dang (Secretary of the Board of Directors, L’Université Numérique, Paris, France) - French digital University - Promotes the use of OER France and francophone countries

  • Paul Stacey (Independent consultant for open education efforts worldwide, paulstacey.global, Canada)

They will talk about their experiences relating to Action Area 4 of the UNESCO Recommendation on OER: Nurturing the creation of sustainability models for OER. The floor will be open for the audience to ask questions and engage in the discussion directly with our experts.

  • About OE Champion experiences and research regarding sustainability models for OER
  • How librarians can help sustain Open Education, both directly and indirectly.
