Open Education Periodic Table - Remix challenge

It’s day 5, the final day of the Remix challenges!

It’s been so brilliant to see everyone getting involved and creating their own Remixes for OE week.

For this last challenge, we wanted to reflect all the different discussions that’ve happened throughout the week: the Elements of Open Education.

Craft your own Element(s) here, using the Remixer Machine.

As you add your elements, the remix gallery will begin to form a periodic table of Open Education filled with all of your wonderful creations! (Here’s a silly one I made earlier…)

I may have been the only kid on grade 10 chemistry who loved the Periodic Table. Never forgotten was the whacky but inspiring curiosity instilled by the teacher I still remember decades later, Blooma Friedman.

For today’s remix, I am going for the largest Atomic/Elemental number ∞ for that is the magnitude of possibility of openness.

inspired from Iodine as it is one of the essential elements - like Inclusion is to Open Education. actually thought of one more as Collaboration too

I’ll be listening to this 1967 live version of Tom Lehrer singing his periodic table song while I’m creating my element.

Classic? My high school chemistry teacher I mention above? She played Lehrer’s Periodic Table song for her classes, and old school LP .

My no-brainer … loving these @VisualThinkery thanks for the remixing fun!
