Made available in OERCommons, UNESCO has offered a free, self paced, and well guided Introduction to Generative AI for OER course:
This course is designed to support the UNESCO community explore the intersection of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) with the discovery of specific Gen-AI tools and implementations, the identification of quality evaluation criteria of Gen-AI resources, and the practices of Gen-AI resource curation and sharing in UNESCO’s OER Hub.
It includes three lessons, all with resources and video guides, covering:
- Lesson 1 Introduction
- Lesson 2 Gen-AI Tools & Implementations
- Lesson 3 Quality Evaluation
Each lesson ends with practice exercises and an invitation to reflect in a course discussion area within OER Commons.
The only thing you need to do to participate is to log in or create a free account on OERCommons where you can then join the course.
