Our conference planners are fielding many requests for locating lodging for the OEGlobal Conference, as we hear many are wrestling with finding convenient and affordable options in the Cambridge area.
Please make note of the information on the conference web site about hotel options including a July 30 update with MIT discount codes that can be used at a few other hotels.
We can’t do much about hotel market, but we can open a place for people to ask questions about locations or share what has worked for them to find a place to stay. And we should have a number of “locals” in this space who perhaps can let you know more about locations or transportation or just figuring out how to organize.

It’s been requested to create a private space for attendees interested in sharing accommodations who may want to exchange contact information or discuss in a less public space – this is now set up as a place for Lodging Connections.
But wait! That link will not work… because it’s not public! You can now get access it by - going to the Lodging Connectors group and use the Request button.
In the box that opens, add a message that explains why you are requesting access to the group (e.g. your interest in making arrangements for lodging at the conference)
Once an admin approves your access to the group, you will see and participante in discussions the Lodging Connections discussion space.
