In this workshop, we will introduce the ”CARE-KNOW-DO” framework to design ‘open schooling resources’ and bridge formal education with informal learning for empowering girls with science-actions linked to the curriculum and open scenario tools for democratic participatory science.
We will showcase some science-actions led by girls with scientists and families including a self-evaluation tool with science capital indicators underpinned by the concept of “emancipatory fun” with examples in Europe and Brazil.
