Hello everyone! I am so excited to be headed to Nantes tomorrow (coming from Northampton, Massachusetts, USA via Cambridge, England where I was visiting my niece this week)
I love this Open Petagogy idea (I mostly just like saying “Open Petagogy”) and I am sharing a picture of my cat, Jill who is at home wondering where I am! Can’t wait to see everyone who will be there!
Felix, Maggie, and Ollie are meeting to discuss who will follow which sessions at OEGlobal22 from the ones available for live streaming. Maggie is most interested in efforts to expand practices of open pedagogy, Ollie want so engage more with artificial intelligence and applications to multi lingual OER, and Felix just wants to remix OER.
Once again this year, I don’t have a traditional animal to share, but I do have my two-year-old daughter, who often needs caging so I think she counts! (see her safely closed in a playground ‘cage’!)
Alas, her health is very unstable, so I am not able to be personally in Nantes as I had hoped - we’ve been in and out of hospital over the past 4 weeks. So my little monkey is a quieter animal at present, but still very cuddly!
Good morning from Austin, Texas! Here is my office companion this morning as we wait to participate in a coffee break hallway conversation: my Golden Retriever, handsome Hudson.
Best wishes to your family that she recovers from this. And that is one fun looking place to play! Thanks for being so present during the conference, Laura.
But no matter, to match your look alike @warwicklanguage tell Ginger Paws to meet Mabel, my daughters cat who visits often (when that happens we are one dog + 3 cats + one feral outside barn cat + misc wildlife)
