What are the signs, indicators, outputs of an open educator who does their work in a global context? Can you help us define this?

Open education, by default, is open globally. Open licenses used to enable sharing, reuse, revision, remix, and distribution make the resulting resources open to everyone around the world. Sharing outward is a one aspect.

But what about creating open educational content or practicing open educational practices that are guided by, influence, connected to other people and places in the world? And what are the ways that these attributes can be seen in the world?

Simply, help us in these three days aim to focus on developing some criteria that help define a Global Open Educator. Participate when it works for you.

We are timing this to coincide with the OE Global 2021 online conference, when educators from 40+ countries will be here in OEG Connect to discuss and develop ideas how to implement the UNESCO OER Recommendation into action.

But this Three Days of Focus event is not limited to conference attendees. It will open for your responses Tuesday September 28. Reply here or start a new topic. Invite others to participate.
