This space is where we blur “face to face” and “virtual” to provide activities that are available to both those In Brisbane to attend OEGlobal 2024 and those Not In Brisbane, participating online.
What happens here is emerging up to conference time and look for new activities in this space. But the real value is for anyone interested in the topics and sessions from the conference to create your own opening topics- go to the main Interaction Zone and use that New Topic button.
This can be anything from posing a question, asking for input, offering an opinion, asking to share photos of pets, requests for ideas, well, it can be almost anything that you think is interesting or should be talked about.

- Something we always launch is a new version of our remixable digital postcard created with the Fabulous Remixer Machine by @VisualThinkery – which as of 2024 now wears an OE Award for Excellence. Remix it with your own images and messages related to this year’s conference.
- For a multilayered example see how @paulstacey is posting a series of activity prompts calling for responses on Reimagining Open at the Crossroads which will be drawn into the workshop he is offering at the conference.
- @IslaHF asks us to participate n the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year voting– even if you can’t vote, let us know which photos you would vote for.
